Viva La Verve!

Hurrumph... I don't like snow. We got snow. Let me repeat, I don't like snow; so I'm in a bit of a snit today. Don't get me wrong, it's pretty WAY off in an empty field somewhere, but that's not the only place it falls, is it?

At least this card is cheerful, LOL.

This is for the Viva La Verve challenge over at Splitcoaststampers. It's a sketch with a "twist". This week's twist was to use buttons- I believe we were told "it doesn't matter if you use 1 or 100, just use buttons. No problem; I loves me some buttons. Since it was a Verve challenge (the first one I've participated in, btw), and I finally have some Verve stamps, I thought I would use them. I can't get enough of the butterfly in the Fluttering By set. I do have a thing for butterflies. I stamped two images in Ranger Distress Ink- Peeled Paint (trying to keep it a little rustic), and then cut out one of the images and popped it up on a foam square. The cardstock is from Bazzill- Daisy, and the DP is K & Company and Bo Bunny.

I inked the edges in Colorbox ink- Sunflower, and the yummy buttons are from Foof-a-la.

I need to place another stamp order- the trouble is, I can't make up my mind which wonderful company to order from next. So ya know what I did? (I told my husband to feel free to tell me I had gone off the deep end). I wrote out a list of companies off the top of my head that I wanted goodies from, and assigned them a number. Then I visited Random.org (just like all the lovely ladies that give away blog candy do), and let the random integer generator choose for me.

Warped, I know, but Flourish Stamps is where I'm headed next.
