I'm back today with my third project as this month's guest designer on the Christmas Card Challenges blog.
I do hope you're able to find the time to play along with this challenge; got to have some Christmas cards for your stash, right?
So, the theme this week is Faith, and here is my card:
For the twinkling background, I ran my stamped panel through my Cuttlebug with Papertrey Ink's Tin Types Impression Plate, and then added Diamond Stickles to each of the circular impressions.
Also, I really wanted to wind some gold cord around my Kraft panel to brighten things up a bit, but I didn't have any. Naturally, I did what any of us crafty types would do, I made my own.
I dipped some embroidery floss in liquid gold leaf, and allowed it to dry overnight before using.

I love the stickles idea after using the embossing plate...beautiful card.:)
ReplyDeletelove the idea of dipping floss in the liquid leaf (who know there was such a thing but i'll be looking for it for sure from now on) and really like the texture it gave the floss.
