Make It Monday- Brayer and Impression Plate Techniques

Hi again; it's Thursday already- where has this week gone?
I'd like to share my Make It Monday project with you today. This week the challenge was to combine your impression plates with ink brayering.
Betsy's samples were out-of-this-world beautiful; it's tough to compete with something like that {smile}.
I couldn't resist testing this technique out on the Christmas tree die that was released last year. This is one of my favorite dies, and I have used it- A LOT.
I gotta tell 'ya, I'm also head over heels in love with In the Meadow and the companion dies- MAJOR SWOON! When I'm finished with this post, I think I'm going to go play with them some more.
So, now, here is my card:
Is the Mehndi Medallion the most beautiful impression plate, or what? Honestly, I don't remember using it until just now, though {so ashamed}.
What's in it: (everything is PTI, except the glittery bits)
Cardstock: Vintage Cream, Rustic White, Fine Linen, Kraft, Spring Moss
Stamps: In the Meadow
Inks: Fresh Snow, Spring Moss, New Leaf, Pure Poppy, Dark Chocolate
Dies: Tree, In the Meadow, In the Meadow Silhouettes
Impression Plate: Mehndi Medallion
Glitter: Martha Stewart- Crystal (coarse)
Stickles: Diamond
That's it, I hope you like it. Thanks for taking the time to stop by.
Smooch!

  2. This is so beautiful. I am thinking of using that same impression plate, somehow, in my MIM. You did a great job with that tree.

  7. The answer to your question is: YES! The Mehndi Medallion embossing plate is beautiful and so are the stamp sets! And look how clever you are [smiling] Very nice, Kay. Very nice, indeed. And, it was so nice to meet you this evening at the PaperTrey Ink November release party. As a first timer, it was interesting. I've enjoyed looking around your blog.
